After the Onigiri Maker workshop Paula Meier and I cohosted in March 2026 at auf weiter flur — where participants made their own wooden onigiri makers and also learned how to make onigiri — received very positively, we organized a second workshop.

Thanks to the interest to the workshop, we increased it into two rounds. Participants had the chance to experience digital fabrication tools such as the latest handheld CNC Shaper and laser engraving, while creating their own personalized onigiri makers.

At the end of the workshop, everyone used the finished molds to make and enjoy onigiri together.
